Moving your domain to us keeps everything in one place - hosting, domain and billing on one invoice.
Before you start, at the current registrar:
- Unlock the domain
- Request the transfer or authorisation code (also called an EPP code)
- Make sure the contact email on the domain is one you can access
Then go to Domains - Transfer a Domain in our client area and follow the prompts.
A few things worth knowing: transfers are not instant and can take several days depending on the extension. Domains registered or renewed very recently may not be transferable yet. Transferring does not move your website files or email - that is a separate step, so tell us if you need help with it.
