Create an email account in cPanel

To add a mailbox such as info@yourdomain.co.za:

  1. Log in to cPanel from your client area
  2. Under Email, click Email Accounts
  3. Click Create
  4. Enter the part before the at sign and choose your domain
  5. Set a strong password and choose a mailbox size
  6. Click Create

Use a long, unique password. Mailboxes with weak passwords are the most common way accounts get compromised and used to send spam, which can affect delivery for everyone on the server.

Once created, you can read mail through webmail in a browser, or set the account up on your phone or desktop mail program.
